We thought the property was outstanding - good location, well designed for 2 couples, lots of space for entertaining, everything updated and modern. Our contact person was excellent. Drawbridge to Europe was professional and helpful. Overall rating A. My recommendations for the area: Find your own adventures - there's one around every corner.

Thank you for your help getting us set up with the Rue de Turenne apartment. The location was great, the space was just right for six people, and Natalie was extremely helpful and professional. My wife and I were misty-eyed when it came time to leave Paris, and the apartment had a lot to do with that feeling. We look forward to going back and having more time to explore the neighborhood.
My recommendations for the area:
Pasta Linare, a small (10-seat) restaurant and takeaway location on Rue de Turenne toward St Paul Metro stop, was wonderful.

You cannot go wrong with this apt...its location and accommodations are outstanding. Do not be concerned about the sofabed...it is more comfortable than the average double bed. My recommendations for the area: Be sure to catch the Sunday outdoor Marche on the Blvd Richard Lenoir (off the Place de la Bastille)...its large and mouth watering. Best place to stock up on food. For emergencies there is also a small market around the corner on the Rue St Gilles...good for heavy stuff like water and soda (if you are so inclined!)
For major shopping there is a Monoprix on the Rue St Antoine and several specialty shops on the Rue de Bretagne.
Restaurants and Bars...what can I say. It's France and, with one exception, they are all good. Stay away from Petit Bofinger on the Rue de la Bastille...very disappointing.

For Australians, the property is well located [but in Paris distance is not really a problem], small but well equipped. Two bathrooms is a real plus for two couples plus a child. It is comparatively expensive but worth the splurge. Drawbridge was helpful, prompt and efficient, apart from the absence of a facility to pay by credit card. Bank cheques are slow and outrageously expensive. I would be happy to pay the credit card commission if Drawbridge chose to identify the amount as a supplement to the rent.
My recommendations for the area:
Very well situated in that you can walk to Carnavalet Museum, Beaubourg, Picasso Museum, Place des Vosges etc. Many restaurants in easy reach, and close to two Metro stations.

The entrance to this property is rundown with peeling paint on the walls and a narrow staircase. Fortunately, the apartment itself is quite nice with a lovely living room and nice kitchen. The bedroom with the queen bed is quite large, but the bed is hard. The second bedroom has a comfortable pullout couch which adequate for a good night's rest, although the room is small and leaves little space to walk around the bed when it is pulled out. .My recommendations for the area:
The neighborhood is very nice with great restaurants and a fabulous bakery with warm croissants just a block away

The apartment was very comfortable for a family of five, plenty of hot water for showers and adequate heat. The kitchen is small but very functional and well supplied with pots, pans, dishes, glasses and cutlery. The location in the Marais district is convenient for touring all of Paris, the metro and busses are nearby. There are numerous restaurants within a five minute walk of the apartment. The immediate neighborhood is safe and quiet in the evenings. Overall, a very happy experience.

We felt like we were locals staying in this apartment. The owners were more than helpful. It was centrally located as far as museums, shops, and metro access. Highly recommend walking to Rambuteau to see all the specialty food shops and the hustle and bustle of everyday French city life.

We totally loved the apartment, and the neighborhood. The only caveat I can make to prospective renters is that when the windows are open, it can be noisy-well into the night and early in the morning. Personally I found the sounds charming, but if one doesn't like that sort of thing, or finds it difficult to sleep, closing the double windows is a necessity. That said, I would rent this apartment again as soon as I can-it's perfect. My recommendations for the area:
We ate at a few restaurants nearby, and were not disappointed once. I especially like eating in the Place des Vosges.

We had a marvelous time and the weather was splendid. We're not sure how things would have been a week later when the temps got into the 90's. The apartment had lots of charm and it was nice not having to bother with the irritations of a hotel. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were ‘quaint’. My wife loved the ivy growing on the windows. This apartment solved our problem of traveling with a teenage son and daughter when none of the hotels seem to have rooms that can accommodate more than 3 persons. We'd love to return to the same property someday.
My recommendations for the area:
The neighborhood is really charming. A good patisserie is close by and the market down the street is adequate for small things. We had good meals at the Cafe des Musees across the street and at the Indian restaurant Chez Ravi a couple of blocks over (two streets up Turenne and to the left). The one bad meal was at an Italian Restaurant across from the supermarket which we only went to because the owner came outside and begged us to try them out.

We found the experience to be wonderful: a clean and functional space, well located for seeing the sights and the managers were very prompt in their responsiveness to any issue! One bathroom was very small, but otherwise the perfect place for 6 of us to enjoy our time in Paris. My recommendations for the area:
For getting around to all of the sites using public transportation use the RATP website for directions. http://www.ratp.fr (available in English) and very very good! There are so many wonderful sites to see and places to dine close to the rental just explore and enjoy!

We just loved the apartment. The position is A1-- You can walk everywhere, the area is wonderful for shopping and restaurants, food markets etc.The apartment is appointed extremely well. Very clean, comfortable and very French. Our daughter and we loved the furnishings and feeling of
the whole place. Would recommend to anybody. The Marais is a wonderful busy and interesting and well positioned area in Paris.
Many thanks for everything
